Slub Viscose Standard Operating Procedure in Textile Operation in Finish Process.

Standard Operating Procedure: Slub Viscose Finishing

This document outlines the standard operating procedures (SOP) for finishing slub viscose fabrics, specifically for work orders 200669, 200672, 200670, and 200671. It details the recipe, temperature, speed, vibration, overfeed, and set width parameters for the finishing process, including compacting. Adhering to these procedures will ensure consistent quality and desired fabric characteristics.

Finishing Process: Work Orders 200669 & 200672 (AOP)

This section details the finishing process for slub viscose fabric under work orders 200669 and 200672, which involve an All-Over Print (AOP).

Recipe:

S.Nano: 10 g/l

A.Acid: 0.25 g/l

Process Parameters:

Temperature: 160°C

Speed: 15 m/min

Vibration: 600 (Units unspecified, assumed to be a machine-specific setting)

Overfeed:

Chain: 50%

Net: 15%

Set Width (S.Width): 220 cm

Procedure:

Preparation: Ensure the slub viscose fabric (Work Orders 200669 & 200672) is properly prepared for finishing. This includes ensuring the fabric is clean and free from any loose threads or debris.

Chemical Mixing: Accurately measure and mix the chemicals according to the recipe: 10 g/l of S.Nano and 0.25 g/l of A.Acid. Ensure the chemicals are thoroughly dissolved in water before adding them to the finishing bath.

Application: Apply the chemical mixture to the fabric using the appropriate finishing equipment. Ensure even distribution of the chemicals across the fabric width.

Temperature Setting: Set the temperature of the finishing equipment to 160°C. Monitor the temperature to ensure it remains consistent throughout the process.

Speed Setting: Set the speed of the finishing equipment to 15 m/min. This controls the rate at which the fabric passes through the finishing process.

Vibration Setting: Set the vibration setting to 600. This parameter is specific to the finishing equipment and may affect the fabric's hand feel and appearance.

Overfeed Setting: Set the overfeed parameters as follows:

Chain: 50%

Net: 15% Overfeed helps to control the fabric's shrinkage and dimensional stability.

Width Setting: Set the set width (S.Width) to 220 cm. This ensures the fabric maintains the desired width after finishing.

Monitoring: Continuously monitor the fabric throughout the finishing process to ensure it is being processed correctly. Check for any defects or inconsistencies in the fabric's appearance.

Cooling: After finishing, allow the fabric to cool down gradually to prevent any distortion or damage.

Finishing Process: Work Orders 200670 & 200671

This section details the finishing process for slub viscose fabric under work orders 200670 and 200671.

Recipe:

Denisil Elastic: 40 g/l

A.Acid: 0.25 g/l

Process Parameters:

Temperature: 160°C

Speed: 15 m/min

Vibration: 600 (Units unspecified, assumed to be a machine-specific setting)

Overfeed:

Chain: 50%

Net: 15%

Set Width (S.Width): 220 cm

Procedure:

Preparation: Ensure the slub viscose fabric (Work Orders 200670 & 200671) is properly prepared for finishing. This includes ensuring the fabric is clean and free from any loose threads or debris.

Chemical Mixing: Accurately measure and mix the chemicals according to the recipe: 40 g/l of Denisil Elastic and 0.25 g/l of A.Acid.

Compacting Process

This section details the compacting process for the finished slub viscose fabric.

Process Parameters:

Speed: 10 m/min

Overfeed: Full

Finished Width (F.Width): 68 inches

Procedure:

Preparation: Ensure the finished slub viscose fabric is ready for compacting.

Speed Setting: Set the speed of the compacting machine to 10 m/min.

Overfeed Setting: Set the overfeed to "Full." This maximizes the fabric's shrinkage and dimensional stability during compacting.

Width Setting: Ensure the compacting machine is set to achieve a finished width (F.Width) of 68 inches.

Monitoring: Continuously monitor the fabric during compacting to ensure it is being processed correctly and achieving the desired finished width.

Quality Control: After compacting, inspect the fabric for any defects or inconsistencies. Measure the finished width to ensure it meets the specified requirements.

Important Notes:

Always refer to the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals used in the finishing process.

Ensure proper ventilation in the work area.

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protection, as needed.

Regularly calibrate and maintain all finishing equipment to ensure accurate and consistent results.

Document all process parameters and any deviations from the standard operating procedure.

This SOP is a guideline and may need to be adjusted based on specific fabric characteristics and desired finishing effects. Any deviations from this SOP should be documented and approved by a supervisor.
